Uses these Stands & Mounts

gl performance
The GL-1 does not mount to a conventional Lowel stand, as it is a handheld unit with no integrated tilting ability in the lighthead. However the bottom of the light has 2 screwthreads (1/4-20, and 3/8") for tripod mounting. This gives the ability to tilt the light.

This would most often be used when continuous stationary lighting is needed, such as for video lighting. In that use, the GL-1's dimming trigger would be locked ON, and its brightness would be controlled by the light's rear dimming knob.

Note: exercise caution when using GL-1 on a tripod. It will be top heavy. Tighten all locking controls on the tripod securely and be careful when moving the light.
